The comb is certainly effective against the lice (such as combs plastic-supplied in shampoo) but I am not at all convinced against nits. After several passages of the comb, and despite the unraveling, the slow remained clinging to the hair. So, I find this comb is expensive for its lack of effectiveness against nits.
